Great food friendly staff great value breakfast burritos are super tasty and flavorful !
Decided to pop in for dinner and really enjoyed our meal. This mom-and-pop restaurant is authentic with no frills. The flavors here are as genuine as they come. We started with the Super Burrito, which is a monster of a meal--seriously, it's big enough to feed two people comfortably. The burrito was packed with tender, well-seasoned fillings, and the portion size alone was definitely a great value. The chicken enchilada with rice and beans was superb, bursting with flavor. Highly recommend it. The service was also great and homey, making the meal even more enjoyable.
Small, cute, and clean restaurant. All staff really nice and helpful. We were driving through town and stopped for breakfast Saturday morning. We ordered breakfast plates and everything was served fresh to order. Everything was tasty, although I used some extra salt . Loved the Mexican sauce - a mild red sauce with onions and bell peppers. Complimentary chips & salsa. Definitely will be back!

Since moving out here I've been trying to hit different spots of Mexican restaurants that make food like home "San Jose" . Found this one and gave it a try, my second time here. First time I got me a breakfast burrito, very good. This time I went for a burrito carne asada, very good. Next will be enchiladas lol, good place and the people here are nice and friendly. Definitely going back
Best breakfast burrito in the area hands down. Love the family atmosphere and the friendly staff, the fresh food, and the serving size. If you are looking for a good breakfast burrito to take on a road trip our eat at home, then go to El Rey.
Great place to have lunch, I order a quesadilla de pollo and it came with rice,beans and lettuce on the side. Home made frijoles and arroz. Price it's a bargain compare to other places. Gracias a Mary for great customer service. Ambience was great peaceful with good background music. Thank you
Love the breakfast burritos here I don't even like eggs but they make it here so good, ask for double ham lightly grilled!
